With a reasonable yield, these onions are capable of growing into large bulbs, especially when sown in modules during autumn for spring transplantation or sown directly outdoors from January to April.

This variety is a maincrop onion, suitable for both spring and autumn sowing, with an ability to thrive both indoors and outdoors.

Prefers a sunny, well-drained site with a fertile soil enriched with well-rotted compost or manure from the previous autumn. The soil should be firm and not recently manured.
